Why are NHL lines always less juicier than NBA ones? Is it the fact that NHL teams have more parity amongst themselves than NBA ones? Or simply the fact that the NHL is a much more smaller market than the NBA? I've always wondered

I've seen -550 ML's in NHL
Also, even when you lay joooze easy to win by 1 or 2 goals. NBA teams lose by 30 like its nothing.

Larger component of luck involved in the game.
Parity has nothing to do with it. Skilled players have less an impact on the ML, which is the exact opposite in the NBA
