He won't be getting drafted. He'll get on some practice squad then end up in the CFL. Kid isn't athletic enough to play any other position other than QB, doesn't have an NFL arm or IQ, and even Chip Kelly has basically said 'what is he thinking?' I like Darron Thomas, but whoever got into his ear and told him this is a good idea needs to be slapped.

He saw the competition coming from Bennett, a smarter QB. He'll end up sitting on somebody's bench and being a solid backup for the next 10 years though. Just like his predecessor, Dennis Dixon.

He should of stayed for his senior season but Bennett will do just fine. He's got unbelievable mobility and he's quite accurate.

Thomas will not be drafted. If you watched Oregon play he is a terrible passer and a below average runner. He made this move because Bennett was not only going to challenge but win the job out of spring as insider sources have already quoted that he would be the favorite out of spring. Bennett is a far better runner and its not hard to be a better passer than Thomas. He is nothing like Dixon, he can't run very well and makes 0 throws. He will not be a backup in the league. UFL, CFL, Arena are the options for him. He sucks, but what would his stock look like if he went back and got beat out. He just got exposed. Bye bye the Oregon offense will flourish with a QB that can actually run and throw

And he was not even going to be the starter in 2012. Dude misses allot of throws and held back the offense. Sounds crazy for a team that averages so many points but he was not good this year

Staying a year probably wouldn't have helped his draft stock.

Best case scenario he's Pat White.

Not in terms of where he will be picked but more along the lines of how he will be utilized in the NFL.

Nowhere near Pat White. He does not rush. Pat white was one of the most prolific running QB last 30 years. Darron Thomas is not a runner and he does not do it well.
