I expect to drop down the standings really quick so I am taking this last opportunity to strut around.

Last year all the stars aligned for me and it was a lot of fun. The prize money went to really good use. Hey maybe lightning will strike twice.

    Good luck everyone!

It was a whole lot more than stars. I think you are worthy of defending your championship. Good luck!

Maybe I spoke too soon. I am confused in the registration process. It's trickier than I remember. I didn't realize I had to sign up for a new account.

I see Las Palmas on the list on the rules page. I could try them. But I don't see it at the top of the page here. The link on the rules page just takes you to the main site address betlaspalmas.com with no special contest code like the other links.

So is Las Palmas all right and do I need a special link?

            Hey Tomcast ... welcome back!

Go to http://www.SBRcontests.com, sign in with your SBR Forum UN and PW, then follow the signup steps. If you're looking at Las Palmas, you'll see links for them in the registration process on SBRcontests.com ... use those links to signup. No special codes required ... just follow the steps as laid out on the contest site.

            • Step One: sign in with SBR Forum UN & PW
            • Step Two: enter required information and email address
            • Step Three: check your email for verification link
            • Finally, go to "My Accounts" or click on BTP or MLB contest links and you should see where to click on sportsbook sponsor links and where to enter your sportsbook account number.

Drop me a line if you have any questions or feedback.

            Good luck again this year!

To be clear, only one sportsbook account is required for any contests hosted on www.SBRcontests.com, including Beat The Prick.

I think I am on track. I have created the Las Palmas account through the link on the SBRContests page.

I spoke to Kathy there. After some investigation she confirmed that SBR is noted as the referrer.

I will do a deposit later this afternoon. But I feel like I am now on track and ready to kick butt! (I mean, sink down the standings.)

Would be more impressive if you did not disappear for 8 months and did not use a professional to make your picks.

I can't compete with professionals picantel. Is tomcast a pro? Never seen him post before.

But if I already have an account at DSI, Bookmaker, BetJamaica and many others why can't I deposit there to participate in the BTP?

IF I remember correctly, and who knows with my senility, he used a professional to make his picks. Personally, and this is my own opinion, I think it is kinda lame for someone to show up once a year just to play in the contest.

I know. I wasn't trying to impress anyone or hide the fact I had an amazing pro feeding me picks. I told everyone that many times hoping that some other people would take advantage of the picks for regular betting.

I will be doing my own BTP picks this year which is why I expect to drop down the standings. I am a hack. The pro doesn't want me posting his main picks. Until further notice I don't recommend anyone follow my picks this year.

I would also understand if the contests were only for people who are more active on the forum which I will never be. At least there are rules that favour people with higher post counts.
