Tony Gonzalez is the best but was never his good.

jj and ttwarrior1 both noticed that Gronk has huge hands too

Has lots of potential for sure - can be a big time weapon rest of the way

He's obviously a freak, but take him away from Brady and New England and does he even put up close to those numbers? I'm not saying he is just a fill-in player who is reaping the benefits of a great QB and TE catered offense, but I'd say he would have to go somewhere else and still produce for this to be a real conversation

Hey sweetnuts I'm asking a question. He broke records in his second year and then showed he's the best receiver on the best team in the afc. If its ridiculous to ask the question just let me know.

aj gold posted that Alex smith is the best qb in the nfl and you're questioning this thread?

When thinking of great tight ends, Brent Jones comes to mind.

As a 'Zona fan, he was before he even hit the league. GRONK is a straight beast. Dudes too big to be covered, he is what Gonzalez allowed for by changing the position forever.

Tony is a legend, first ballot talent. But it doesn't get better than Gronk at that position.

The guy is a beast and fun to watch...if Brady plays another 5-6 years then Gronk should already be well on his way to the HOF...if Pats win the superbowl Gronk has a great chance of taking home the MVP...this would really help him set himself apart in future debates...
