Roddick is going to be pressed here.

While Roddick may be gaining momentum, Gonzalez (just off a Silver at the Olympics after beating Blake) is a quality veteran opponent and will not be dazzled by the night stage at the open. Gonzalez has looked a bit off since coming back from Bejing but his play is improving. All the pressure will be on Roddick to win here because the open is his Olympics; however, Roddick may see some incentive in beating the silver medalist. I just have a bad feeling about this match becasue nothing I have seen in Roddick's game so far looks any different from his play in the past, and Gonzalez is not a player that I can see folding mentally at this point in his career.

Ultimately, Gonzales may feed on the underdog role tomorrow nite - particularly after Blake called him a cheat after their Olympic match.

IMO, minor value here, a 1 unit play at most for Gonzalez to win, otherwise just wait for Roddick to fold against Djokovic in the quarters.
