How do you "cap" when you plan on betting -500 favs?

Do you look at ESPN and see how they rank in Points/Rebounds/Assists/FG% and then look at records?

Did you cap the New England patriots game for this Saturday and come up with they will beat denver because they already beat them once outdoors? I mean I capped that game and I figured I should take the ML...Those -500's are tough to "cap"

Having actually seen them play would tell you that they're like most of the 'other dregs' of the ACC this year. One game they'll look great, the next they'll look gawdfingawful. Maryland, G Tech, Wake, Clemson should also be included in that list. BC is so awful it's ridiculous.

NCSU and UMD may improve after more time under their first year coach but nothing that's gonna scare anybody.

Do not trust UVA until they play some games to prove themselves (yes, they beat Mich, but they also scrape by teams like Towson, LSU and Miami). The game against Dook tonight should be a good yardstick.

colorado is greatky improving.....and their record is very good....cal was a preseason top 25 team and i know they dont really belong there.....this is a chance for colorado to make a statement by beating them on the road...its a road game....so there certainly the chance colorado is flat and gets blown out....but they are surging...they have some sr leadership to go along with a budding soph forward in roberson and two freshman guards from cali that are playing pretty well......i think this line if off by 4 or 5 points.....this is a good test to see how much colorado is improved.....cal is capable...but they are a team that just throws out some stinkers....i think colorado could win this one outright..

i think the buffs could be a top 25 team this year....and if they were to take this one i think they get in
