Iman Shumpert--Great Draft Pick

New York really found a gem in Shumpert. He can ball handle, pass, play defense, and shoot. Josh Harrellson is a great 3 point shooting big man. As a Knick fan, I'm thrilled. Now I know why D'antoni expects to be a contender right away. These were top level picks---Go Knicks!!!!!!!!!!

And to think they took a lot of criticism for passing on Chris Singleton. People thought Singleton should be the pick b/c of his D, and he's been solid so far, but Shumpert has a swagger about him. He's going to be a big time piece of the puzzle in NY.

Maybe he just thrives in a ball movement offense, which is what NY was when they had Chandler, Felton, Danilo, Fields, etc....Now, it's turned into more of an isolation offense where you throw it to Amare or Carmelo and hang out to while they decide what to do.
