With all of the neck surgeries that he's had, he'll be look for a warm climate IF HE LEAVES INDY. Both of these teams are a perfect fit. You watch it happen, if he's leaves. He's not going to Arizona.
If Manning leaves, he goes to SF or MIA!

#2I would love to see Manning on the 49ers!
SF makes more sense then Miami.... if I were Indy I would want him out of the conference.Comment -

Very respected talk show was talking about this. He would play for either one of these teams and I agree. He's had other injuries also (bursa sac--I've had that injury--this guy is tougher than people think). How has he fared against New England up north? Not too well.Comment -

#13I live in Indy and Irsay seems to think he can keep Manning & Luck....but nobody else thinks that including Manning & Luck. Manning is due $28 mil on March 12th I think....so time is approaching to make a decision.
I don't know how many teams are setup to give 1/3 of their cap to 1 guy. I guess if the Colts cut him then that deal is over but it would be better for the Colts to get something for him & Manning doesn't want a pay cut either.Comment -

#14No $hit! The first post makes no sense either....he'll want to go someplace warm so he's not going to Arizona. Last time I was in Arizona it was about 110 in November.
I think Arizona is a great fit....Larry Fitzgerald has about 3 great years left, Beanie Wells is getting better, and their defense is pretty decent. Not to mention that division is bad and a healthy Manning would make Arizona the favorite.Comment -

As to the team, I don't really get why SF would suddenly quit on their young #1 now that he's finally started to put it together. Miami makes sense also because they have the (#8 or #9?) pick they can deal along with others. Or maybe Jax since Gabbert is clearly worthless.Comment -

Polin wanted to keep Manning, develop Luck.
Irsay doesn't want to pay Luck and Manning.
Irsay will draft Luck, that decision is made already and etched in stone.
Manning's days as a Colt are finished.Comment -

#20Jets, AZ and SF would be interesting. Jets and SF need a QB and an offense boost. AZ is in such a weak division, Niners dominated this year, but can they repeat next year? it is going to be interesting. I hope manning still has something left and isnt forced to retireComment -

#23cant see the cards including peterson in any deal...their secondary is very thin and this guy was winning games with his punt returning ability
not sure how interested the colts would be in darnell dockett as part of a package...hes getting up there and makes some good money...but i think he fits their scheme defensively.....the cards need to resign calais campbell pretty badly
hope manning goes west...dont wanna see him ny or mia....ive been hoping for a couple years now that things go bad in arizona real quick and fitz tries to force his way out...and my patriots pounce....wet dream for me.....they desperately need a guy on the outside who can beat single man coverage.....branch just doesnt physically have the ability to be consistent....they have all of these guys who can start in the middle of the field and wreak havoc...now they need a guy who can do damage on the outside.....i dunno what zona is gonna do....but they cant afford to let a talent like fitz waste some of his prime years...this guy still does it with anyone chucking the rock to him....but hes amazing when he has someone competentComment -

#26They've had quite a few players come back from this surgery. One guy they mentioned the other day was a well known LB but I can't remember the name. Obviously a LB is going to take 100x more hits than Manning. The problem isn't his neck....its the nerve damage and how it effects his arm. They don't know if he'll ever get back the arm strength to be an NFL QB again. The Colts won't be able to trade a guy making that much with his future uncertain. They'll have to pay him $28 mil on March 8th or most likely release him.Comment -
