Oh come on, Ive defended SBR as much as anybody, and it is pretty clear to click through the link, but even I think this is bullshit. The top banner link has been broken for months, and the contest link being broken was brought up over 2 days ago. Get your act together SBR. There's absolutely nothing in this situation that can't be fixed manually. Obviously you dont want to have to email the book and straighten things out for every single guy who signs up, but you can't run contests like this and expect everything to go perfectly without working and keeping on top of things. You want the revenue, be fair and earn it.

As was stated on page 1, the initial post made it sound like this guy just for some reason or another bypassed half the signup process, and signed up on his own. It wasn't clear initially that the sponsor link was malfunctioning, obviously his reason is understandable and nobody has the intention of "screwing" him as the title of this thread implies. Let us get this fixed in the morning, have faith.

I deposited 2,000 at a book i never would have. i assumed becasue of beat the prick i would get a 15% sbr bonus and eligabilty for beat the prick. now i am being told that i may not get these becasue while i did everything properly, when i created my account at the book, i may not have clicked on the sbr link to the book. i may have simply typed in the books webste. i have pmed Sean (a moderator) and he tells me if i did this i may not be eligable. i would feel very screwed by sbr if this happened. i feel tricked into a deposit of a large amount of my moeny. i dont even think it said you must click on our link, going to the site is no good. i am nervous as hell over this. 2k is a lot of money. whats the deal here??

It seems to me that since you DID click on the link and it took you to the wrong site, you did your part to comply by the rules. You on;y hardcoded the website because of the broken link, which is understandable. I am sure that the Pig and SBR will get together with your account information and fix it so that it is handled by alll parties as if the link worked properly (i.e., everyone gets their fair cut).

Unfortunately, I had already left the office for the night when your final PMs were sent. It was not clear in the two prior PMs I received from you that you had experienced the linking problem regarding The Pig.
