I've heard rumors of that but never saw it firsthand. Was it an adding in units type of deal or just not counting certain plays?

Where do I start? A good trick when doing his record was risking 1 unit on a favourite if it lost but to win 1 unit if it won. He did this betting NHL once year and he still had a piss-poor record. Other times just not counting losing plays - to be honest, people have got better things to do with their time than to go back through someone's posts and calculate their actual record. One day I didn't have anything better to do, and so I did.

We'll leave for another day the posting of fake tickets and the way some of his losing bets turned out to be winners since he actually bet the wrong side by accident.

From what I've been able to deduce here, there are many who are good (or better). A possible way to separate them all would be by making a standings type thread (w-l,+/-$ etc) but only listing the top ten (or whatever number). I know, it'd be a lot of work for someone but might benefit the site overall.

Aren't there already features like this? Actually, I was just going to post and ask what I should do to get my personal stats recorded, or if there were some contests I should join or something....
