    BCS gets exposed again
LSU was touted as the best team in the nation by beating Oregon 3 months ago, barely beating bama, west virginia, and beating up on the rest of the scrubs in the SEC. This is what's wrong with the BCS. How do you become "national champions" by beating up your conference and then winning one bowl game? D-1 bowl division college football is comparable to Harry Potter. It's all mythical bullshit

LSU and Alabama were the both best teams in the country going into the game...and LSU is still the second best team in the country behind Alabama. I wish the game was a little more entertaining, but Alabama's defense is just nasty!

Ya I don't get it either. I mean they only beat the 3 top 3 teams away? Won 12 games 8 of them being top 25 teams and won their division. What a joke.

I still would rather see a playoff system would be good for the game and also osu would have killed either one of these teams

            playoff system is a must.

the system is so rigged and full of shit. imagine if they did this for the nfl... there would be riots if the nfl operated on the BS.S system

I can see why a lot of people would want a playoff system and I am not necessarily disagreeing, but I don't like the idea that many teams would likely sit their starters towards the end of the season, or even in a majority of games against cupcake teams. I mean, why risk injuring a heisman candidate against a horrible team, or if a team has already secured a top seed. Definitely don't like the idea of constant player posturing. BCS is definitely imperfect, but it's hard to see a solution that enacts a playoff system without watering down the purity of college football.

I'm sure you guys have some ideas...let's hear them.

I seriously don't understand why there is no playoff system. Sure, the bowl shite works well for CFB, but with a proper tourney?
F'n hell, it'd do dickloads more, in addition to the bowls for the 6-5 teams out there, only because there's nothing else to watch.

The BCS is HORRIBLE for CFB, but I think, this year, they got the true best team... But f'n hell, how hard would it be to make an 8 or 16 team tourney? I'd watch ALL the games if they did that, rather than tuning in 'only when I remember'. CFB is f'n dumb like that and it's why I only click on the TV for a few games/year. Put in a playoff system and I watch ALL year. Meh, whatever, f the NCAA and f the BCS. I hate them. The ONLY thing they do right is the NCAA tourney for hoops. Other than that? F off.

A small tourney system would be ideal. Screw the watered down byllshyt no-name bowl games. The top 6-8 teams on the country should have a playoff. The rest can just be appetizers.

I understand that some schools depend on the money that bowl games bring to them.
