This Giants team is much better than the 2007 team. Eli has matured into a legit QB week in and week out. Jacobs and Bradshaw have developed a solid 1-2 punch and the receiving core of Nicks/Cruz/Manningham are WAY better than Plax/Tyree/Toomer (?). Giants defense is playing better and they have a beast in Pierre-Paul.

So yes, I'll agree with you that the comparison is nonsense.
