    Son of Packers Off. Coordinator Found Dead
    Several reporters on-scene in Green Bay report that a body found in the Fox River has been identified as that of Michael Philbin's. Michael was the 21-year-old son of Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin. Michael was reported missing on Sunday night. The last time he was heard from was 2 a.m. on Sunday. He lived in Ripon, Wis., and was visiting friends in Oshkosh, which is 21 miles away.




    Gotta make for a tough week for the coach.

      Terrible news.

      AFAIK, Mike McCarthy calls all of the offensive plays. Even if Philbin is out, the offense shouldn't skip a beat.

          My girlfriend lives a mile away from where they found the body. Guessin he was wasted and for some reason out on ice that was definitely not thick.

                          similar story took place prior to the CFL grey cup, lions' coach's son died a week before the final game. Lions ended up winning in a blowout.
