If you bet a 13 point tsr, shouldnt the reg line be the one closest to -110?

    It always has been.

But if you try to do a 13 pt teaser on LSU, you are getting LSU +14, which makes no sense because LSU +1 is +115.

LSU +2.5 is what should be used because that is -115.

I should be getting LSU +15.5, not +14. Anyone else betting tsrs at 5dimes know what Im saying here?

5dimes specifically doesnt put the -110 line as their "main line" in order to protect against teasers, been that way forever.

yes, in theory you are correct. However the books are trying to protect themselves by using this 'main line' thing in order to mislead and catch people slipping.

        Isnt this unusual?

Percy: Hello. How may I assist you today?
xxxx: yes I placed a 13 pr tsr
        xxxx: ticket number: 103970068-1
xxxx: according to your site, I should be getting lsu +15.5, not +14
xxxx: because the regular line for the game is lsu +2.5
xxxx: lsu +1 is not the regular line, it is an alternate line
        xxxx: are you following me?
        Percy: let me see
Percy: the game line is Alabama -1
Percy: that's the line used for all teasers
        xxxx: lsu -1 is -135
        xxxx: lsu -2.5 is -115
        Percy: no
xxxx: so that means the regular line is -2.5
        xxxx: yes look now
        xxxx: look at the odds
Percy: the regular line is -1 -135
xxxx: regular line is -110 or closes to -110
Percy: I'm looking at it right now
        Percy: LSU is +1 +115
xxxx: look at the juice tho
xxxx: yes, which means it is an alternate line
Percy: I know what you're saying
Percy: but it doesn't work that way her
        Percy: here*
xxxx: why would you guys use an alternate line as a regular line?
        Percy: that's our regular line
xxxx: regular line -135 and +115?
        Percy: correct
xxxx: the regular line is -2.5, +2.5
        xxxx: -115 and -105
xxxx: I dont know how you dont see what Im saying
xxxx: Ive never seen it done like this before here
xxxx: could you check with the wagering manager?
Percy: I understand what you're saying. Here it doesn't work that way .
Percy: we choose our base line
Percy: that's the line for teasers
Percy: the first line on the list is our base line
xxxx: then why isnt this consistent?
