Just take the 8 points and be grateful that you're getting that many points on the home team in a playoff game. Not to mention God/Jesus love Tebow, so now you have home field advantage and the Religious factor on your side. Don't get greedy playing the ML.

this is a good and correct post But in the long term, the moneyline might be safer because youre betting odds that are so favorable return-wise. steelers can still blow them out of the water.

Of course, the Steelers could blow them out but getting 8 points always give you that slight possibility of a backdoor cover. When you bet the moneyline and let's say the game gets ugly in the first half, the average bettor would be looking at 2nd half bets looking to make their money back. Let's all be honest here, when your huge underdog bet is getting killed in the first half we always look at the 2nd half bets to try to make back our losings and sometimes (not always) we end up losing even more.

My opinion Broncos +8 is the best and safest play in this game along side with the Under.

yes im agreeing with you that that is the safest out of the 6 generic bet options for the game but i was just meaning long-term. you can win way less than 52% and profit playing ml dogs more.

another good point- i am guilty of doing that too much in the pats for sure at halftime.

but imagine taking the underdog- the broncos are up 14-3 at the half and you get offered pittsburg +135. you have a chance right then and there to bet that and guarantee a known profit right there on the spot because of the good odds you got on denver.
