    So disappointment to hear screaming Gus Johnson calling the Cotton Bowl. He is insufferable to listen to. Why he's so popular amongst the casual viewer is beyond me.

    His sidekick Charles Davis is almost as bad. The king of Mr. Obvious. These guys tell me nothing and I find them so annoying to listen to.

          Gus is enthusatic to te point he has to be fatigued after calling games. The better the game, the more impactful Gus becomes to the telecast. if the game is slow, Gus is useless.

                      there is a reason why he's never been considered an A Team announcer. Charles Davis is just as bad. I may have to watch the game on MUTE.
