i had atlanta +2.5 it hurt...

i loved my ticket when i saw Atlanta close at -4

3 units gone... thank god for Oregon St and UCLA last night..

i am trying to keep it to one NBA play a day.. for a unit... but man i just loved the Hawks line last night.. i should have known better when lang "langed it"

Once the points had moved drastic I had to ride it. I call it "riding the mare of steel" from an old Sidney Poitier move (The Bell?). My stomach still has not recovered. No way I should have won that bet. Not only is Atlanta a poor team, they are terribly coached.

I have nothing empirical to back this up and I know Demens will roll his eyes at this, but if you back a team ATS in the first game without their star player(s) in the NBA, you win. A lot.

i lost close to 25k...no kidding. But I made back with other wins such as portland and kings 2nd half. Still a positive night yesterday. One thing I realised yesterday is that Hawks have no heart and are way too inconsistent. I am not touching them again this season.

They take plays off on the boards and get out hustled on loose balls. Maybe its the lack of training camp. Got to be careful and not put too much stock in some of the sloppy play. Who knows how sharp some of these teams will be once they are in shape.

Other guys dont want to look like they are just garbage.
Same scenario as first game after coach gets fired. They usually play great

I got burried... i won my 2 plays that i took some time and capped (kings +3 "Lucky" and Lakers/Blazers over) i won 3 units on .... then i saw lebron was out aswell and i went on a whim and bet to win 2 units at -190 .... so ended up with a lil less then a unit ... i had my chances to buy out a lil bit as Heat were dogs in each overtime ... shoulda/coulda/woulda .... next !
