SO watching this video told me what I thought from the beginning. The MVP winning the IPAD has to come from the winning team

Nah, I think someone who must have seen this ages ago asked the same question, and John or Lou clarified Loshak was wrong here and the official rules as written are correct.

Actually though, the MVP really should come from the winning team. That is why you are a MVP, you helped your team the most to win the championship

i agree though, you hardly ever receive an MVP award being on a losing team.
