Over the years there seems to be the next "can't miss" prospect for the various sports. Who, in your lifetime, are some of these professional failures?

Do you remember when he went off at the journalist (Jim Trotter I think ) in the lockeroom and had to be calmed down by Rodney Harrison and Junior Seau. Harrison said afterwards he couldn't stand the guy because he was a whinging baby. Its probably on youtube somewhere.

I used to steal them at the library. They would also have the swimsuit edition there too, I would steal that and use it for months has wank material. This is what you had to do before web porn.

It's got to be Leaf.
I remember the debates over who should be the #1 Pick. Manning or Leaf.
Imagine if Indy had ****ed that up.

I'd go with Leaf as well. Another huge bust was Tony Mandarich taken 2nd overall in 1989. Next pick was Barry Sanders, big miss by the Packers.

biggest busts? dolly parton and that chick who used to storm the field and kiss players, i think morganna was her name
biggest disappointments? how about that lefty pitcher for the yankees, the black kid, dude could not pitch at all, and how about felipe lopez? on the cover of si outta hs, then barely does anything in college
o'bannon bros were also big disappointments

I think he'd made comments blaming the o line for his own shortcomings and from that point on they kinda let him take a few shots. If you listen to anyone talk who knows him he's like Jeff Kent, they all say 'jerkoff.'

No team in history has drafted more busts than the Clippers.
Here's a list of players their idiot GM Elgin Baylor has passed on:
Amare Stoudamire
Caron Butler
Dirk Nowitzki
Kobe Bryant
Steve Nash
Tayshaun Prince
Paul Gasol
Rip Hamilton
Ron Artest
Ricky Pierce
Kevin Garnett
And many more!
Elgin Baylor is the biggest idiot GM in sports. Jordan is close second.

I was going to say the exact same thing. This guy had the tools to be a consistent 25+ goal scorer, but all that $$$ (at the time especially) the Sens forked over was insane.

i kinda thought the same thing.the rose bowl game between washinhington state, and michigan was a great game to watch.i always thought mannigs wide receivers jermaine copland, and marush nash could have been good recivers in the nfl.i thought wrong.
