Crazy weather. Official temp right now is 89. We might be the hottest place around. Simi Valley which is usually 10 degrees warmer than us is only 82. Oxnard is only 72 but they take that by the base right by the water, so in town it might be over 80. Thousand oaks is 89 too so it must be right in this little stretch here where it is really baking.

It is too hot actually which is a weird thing to say to most people I guess.

Having to have the car a/c on in new year is even weird for so cal it felt about 90ish somethings going on my buddy is working on a rig in north dakota said its 40s no snow thats not normal at all for that region.

Topped off at 95, sun went behind the mts about 40 minutes ago still 76 on the thermometer 67 officially.

I grew up in Maine so I dont miss the cold any. but 90 in Jan is a little ridiculous for anywhere in Jan not on the equator. Has been 77+ here for 7-8 days so it isnt seasonal to be sure. But big difference between 77 and 95.
