rjt I haven't played since I was 17. I had the talent to play atleast minor leagues but didn't work hard enough I took it for granted. Hard work beats talent.

I was in the reserves back home... I'd gladly encourage my son to do the same if he were like me at the time (and like you now): aimless, no job, not ready to go to uni because I didn't know what I wanted to take, wanted to work for more than min wage at a fast food joint. Which coincidentally - none would even hire me at, at the time. It was the best thing I ever did. Straight from parents to an environment I had no control over and I made great cash for doing so without ever being in danger = RESERVES. Almost 20yrs later I still have awesome friendships with people I met during that time. Not everyone signs up for the full spiel... it's actually a great job temporarily to smarten your ass up and motivate you to want to do something. It did for me. Might not work for you but at least sickler made a decent suggestion.

And that's the whole point - I really have none. And a big reason for that is because I got off my sheltered, posh ass and joined the military for awhile. But yeah, gl to you too.
