i'ver posted in threads before about my dislike for Walmart, about how i'll go out of my way to shop there, even though i have a supercenter like 3 minutes from me.
well i just went up there to use **, cause i didn't feel like going out of my way today to go to the hood and use the ** at the ghetto check cashing place that never asks questions.
i walk up to customer service counter and there is 1 guy at the counter, i grab my ** slip and start feeling it out, another dude walks up and grabs a ** slip, the guy looks like he might be a Sudanese refugee (we have alot of them in the louisville area), anyway the dude at the counter is deaf and possibly mentally challenged (not knocking the guy for that, just stating), he's trying to figure out a charge on his credit card or a return charge or something, so he has to write down and point and stuff, the woman behind the counter is trying to explain and has to write down stuff and use her hands and point at stuff. Meanwhile the guy from Sudan filled his form out before me, so he's next, he's trying to send 300 to someone in N.Y. city, the Walmart lady is having all kinds of trouble, and asking him for ID's and phone numbers, then she has to go get another person, they are trying to charge him like 70 bucks, he going "no,no,no", then they re-enter the info again, ask him more questions, and it comes to like 45, he ends up just leaving, and now the whole customer service area is packed, must be 15 people in there now. finally another lady comes and opens a cash register , i step up thinking "what kind of hell am i getting ready to go through, that dude was just trying to sent money to NY, i'm getting ready to send money to a country in Central America and to some Hispanic dude with 2 last names?" the lady enters mine, don't ask questions, nothing, my charge was like 9 bucks, which is what it usually is, anyway after i get my receipt and turn around to walk out, there is a line all the way out the CS area and down the aisle in front of the eye glass place. I just thought to myself "i'm just driving to the ghetto next time."
