#5fact that they haven't beaten a team that ended the year with a winning record also means almost nothingOriginally posted by Scorpionmeans nothing
only 5 teams other than detroit had a winning record in the nfc
only 5 teams other than new england had a winning record in the afc
so they didn't get too many chances to play teams that ended the season with a winning record - new england had a whopping 2 games against teams that finished with a winning record.
yes the lions were 0-5 in that respect...Comment -

#12and in fact, if they wouldn't have beaten those teams, all 4 would've had winning records since they went 8-8.Originally posted by blackbeSStIt means they beat teams with winning records ....like the op claims they didn't
so they beat 4 teams that had winning records in the other 15 games

#16I'm thinking Packers/Ravens since Baltimore seems to have Bradys number. No way the Ravens beat the GB spread in a dome though. GB/NE would be stupid....some kind of a Baylor score in GBs favor. The Saints best shot is if the Giants won in Lambeau....not totally out of the question. I don't see the Saints winning in Lambeau in January. The NFC Championship Brees played in Chicago in January was pretty ugly. The Giants are pretty dangerous right now imo...getting healthy at the right time & the pass rush is coming together. The Saints & Giants are the only 2 playing this weekend with any chance at the SB.Comment -

#18cincy has to beat houston for the pats to play them....if not the pats have to play pitt then balt! thats going to be tough to beat with no defense! I am a patriots homer....I am rooting for cincy so pitt and balt can beat the shit out of each other before we have to play them.Originally posted by PAULYPOKERCinnci will play the Pats and lose Pitt will beat Ravens and then the Pats in the championship............Comment -

#19that really means nothing because there were games that they played when the teams they played did have a winning record and one of the reasons they didn't play anyone with a winning record with the season total is becaus new england and detroit beat those teams to give them a losing recordComment -
