I mean they preach"body of work" and don't care when you suffer a loss vs. The whole season.
Then why wouldn't LSU win the nat'l title or at least a share of it.

It's a bullshit system, so if you looked at their whole season, it would still be more impressive than Ala. Or at least equal.

This is why they need a playoff!

I'm a WV fan, but look who they beat!

Ore on neutral field, wv at Morgantown ranked 15 at the time. I mean they played a he'll of a schedule.

My whole point here, is that if they aren't going to have a playoff and if they're going to fuk over Boise and let mich and vt in the BCS games then live with the bullshit setup!

Because its called the championship game

Did you make a thread when the giants beat the pats in the super bowl after they lost to them in week 17 in 07?

        Waste of time

That's my point! With this fukd up system nyg wouldn't have been playin NE. It would've been the NFC 1 seed that year.

NE vs ATL would've been your superbowl last year, etc.

In other words, they need a playoff!

College football is the most arbitrary. You got that one backwards!

Think about it. If you played basketball or football in high school, D1a, D2, D3, What do you have to do to win a championship? Win the regular season and automatically get a birth in a title game? No! You got to go win a playoff, aka win a champioship!

Go look at the past five champs in every sport. College football consistently has the best team winnng the championship. Mavs=no, packers=wild card, st Louis cards=

                Auburn

"Best team" doesn't always win championship, ask NE 2007. If we wanted the "best team", we would just give it to the regular season champs in each sport and call it a year.

That's why college football needs a playoff.

I can't remember who was ranked 3 through 8 last year in college football, but if Auburn won an 8 team playoff then you have something!

Look up the meaning of arbitrary. You made the exact same point. Have a day.

Maybe I didnt say it that well, I guess what I was saying is that college football (d1) is the only sport to leave it up to "personal judgement" (coaches voting that have never seen certain teams play) or "random choice" (not really random, but the computer rankings are fukd up) to determine who plays for a title vs. A playoff system.

Again, my whole point here is that they need some sort of playoff. You wouldn't like to see a playoff?

I mean they could keep all this bowl setup the same, just take the top 8 BCS ranked teams at end of season and designate 7 bowls, 4 for quarterfinal round, 2 for semi finals and 1 for a real national championship.
Or if 8 is too many, just take the top 4.

Have a good evening! Gl on your wagers. I lucked out on that Stan +4 lost on under.

Yea, that's what I'm saying, that was my whole point.
I hate all that " best team" or " body of work" bullshit. Losing early in the year is different than losing late in the year.

Look at that year they let Okla in after Sproles and K St killed em in the Big 12 championship. They leave out auburn ( I think) and okla gets destroyed by leinhart and USC.

If you played hs or college sports, this BCS shit is frustrating as hell. That's why I was askin. LSU would have the best " body of work" over the whole season even with a loss.

                          Get a fukn playoff
