I had this when i was a freshman at U of I and i'll tell you its the WORST sickness short of maybe bone cancer i can imagine, at least in my case.
i had the typical enlarged spleen, was swollen in the face to the point where the guys at lunch were making fun of me and doing the "Cut me mick" line from Rocky. It was brutal, had to ditch school for almost a week at a real bad time too, but i was wasted, no energy and just needed to stay in bed 24/7. To this day whenever i've gotten a real good sickness, i still caugh up some green stuff, and i had mono 16 years ago!
anyway, was just reading an article about it on wikipedia and thought i'd ask..
