Boozer hasn't been popping off the stat sheet, but from watching 3 games, he looking more svelte and is playing actual defense at times.

I'd like to see Taj Gibson with more minutes though

lack of offense is going to kill them.. cant rely on just rose espeically in this type of season where your gonna be playing 2 3 games in a row

These teams are exhausted and can't practice because they are on the road all the time or playing a game. It's going to be a year of bad offense.

great game against the hawks but memphis didnt have randolph or conley

I think having 4-5 guys that are capable of putting 15-20 up on any given night to compliment Rose is enough to at least get them as far as last year.

when it comes down to it, on any given night you only have to score 1 more than the other team. So if you are consistently holding the other team down, you don't need a ton of offense, tonight is a perfect example.

they didn't have Rip and CJ but they pulled it together and gutted it out.

there are no style points for scoring 120 or blowing your opponent out

it was great to see that the winning basket didn't have to come from Rose, great play by Thibs

that being said, Rose did have a couple monster buckets in the possessions before that
