Derreek Lee is going to sit in all likelyhood with back spasms.
Lilley has cooled off as of late and finally lost his first game since the All Star Break, I love to take a pitcher who loses after a long winning streak to lose at least two games in a row. This is a great system game and Lilly is on the road.

Not to mention Lilley's over 8 era in Pittsburgh only two outings thus far.

Aug 01 Karstens had a shut out against these Cubbies, and is coming off a extra two rest, he should be solid. I believe this was one hell of a pick for Pirates this year when they made the trade.

He should be solid for them tonight, great value here.

it was worth a shot....but tough to go against the cubs... I don't think they've really had one really bad losing stretch this season... too many well-rounded bats... when some lets down, someone else picks up the slack... guys like Derosa, theriot, reed johnson, blanco, cedeno are solid ball players that just win when added to the star power the cubs have.
