I bet against Denver at that point and it was the only divsion winner I missed in an all 8 division parlay. Denver won the divsion over Oakland due to record against common opponents 8-6 vs 7-7.

I smell an air bet. tying up 100 for the whole season, on a team with a shitty coach first year with the team, who wouldn't even name their starting qb... uh yeah, right.

It was luck when betting on the Broncos. At the time, you won't know if Orton was starting or Tebow.

I really liked the chances of this bet cashing when I placed it and heres why......1. The afc west is just an awful division, where realistically any team has a chance of winning it every year (ie: look at the kansas city chiefs last year when they won the division)......2. The Broncos were getting a new coach that I really liked (John Fox) with a proven track record of winning (look what he did with the expansion carolina panthers where he took them to a super bowl)........3. Had a really good feeling that kansas city was going to have a severe drop-off.......4. Oakland was getting a new coach that I quite frankly never heard off and just didnt trust. If they were going to be good under this new coach it certainly wouldnt happen if his first year. It would take some time for them to get acquainted with him. And lets face it theyre the oakland raiders, they stink and always find ways to lose games. Never trusted this team........5. Can not put any stock or faith in Norv Turner and his coaching ability or that franchise in general. Just not a winning franchise. I question their toughness and their heart every year.......6. Saw a guy named Tim Tebow play last year that came in and won games. Plain and simple the guy just won games. Was a winner at florida and
was hoping he would eventually be their starter........7. The odds were just too good. San diego was favored at something like -265, KC was something like +475, Oakland was around +800, and when I saw Denver at +2340 my jaw dropped!!! I couldnt beleive it!!! Denver wasnt this much worse than the other shitty teams in that division. I texted all my friends that gamble and told them to put $100 on denver at those amazing odds. And those are the factors that drove me to place this bet which I felt real good about
