128 Bracket contestants,
Wondering how many action junkies took it a step further and bet on themselves?

Odds to win
201 Player to win the SBRforum Handicapper Tourney

If there wouldn't have been such a high hold percentage, I would have. In fact, I might have even placed wagers on some other posters as well if that were the case...

It's not that out of line for a prop bet with really no idea of who the horses in the race are... Gives the ability to add an extra $700 to the pot for some lunch money.

Er, because there is ridiculous hold/no value on anyone and due to expected growth considerations it would actually be optimal to bet against yourself if your bankroll is small enough.

Actually, this is a pretty normal hold for a market with 128 possibilities.

Yeah I suppose it's nice in that regard. Nothing wrong with extra lunch money. Betting on me is a sucker bet though...

Would be nice if we could bet on ourselves each round. Anyway to get lines between two people???
I would think that would be to much work for Betjam

Everyone would be trying to lose then. Unless they had your poster name and prevented bets on your own competition...
