Let's say I own a book. I have $10,000 bets on Seahawks and $5,000 on Chargers. What do I want people to bet on to balance action? I sent a tout at a forum to tout the Chargers as a lock. That's why you bet the opposite.

Seattle's starting center, Chris Spencer, is also missing because of back trouble.
Are you ready?...Backup center Chris Gray is also out because of back trouble.
Are counting? That's a third-string quarterback behind a third-string center, the two most important positions for any sports bettor.
Chargers' head coach, Norm Turner, figures to use this game to test a lot of his starting players. We expect the Chargers' 'A' players to take the field. Like many coaches, Turner figures to be serious about tonight's third week of preseason. Look for Turner to rest a lot of his starters next week, using Week Four to decide which players to cut from his team.
In our newsletter yesterday we wrote the script in last night's Bills-Colts' game, and we feel at least as good about tonight's game. Pawn your wife's vacuum cleaner if you have to, but get down on this game.
i guess you didnt know LT never plays in Pre Season, Gates is hurt, Merriman is hurt,.etc... But oh that all important center!

Hell, I live in San Diego and decided to buy Seattle up to 7 1/2 and still cashed in. Obviously I didn't need to buy the extra points, but I was hearing conflicting reports of who was playing/how long...from out local media.

I took the Seattle moneyline, things conspired against me. The field goal miss, not going for it at 4th and 1 in midfield, leaving the Charger WR wide open on 3rd and long, and Volek going for 2 instead of 1. Knew I should have taken the run line, + 3.5 was above evens
