trust me when i say this.. i have seen it all. man gambles, woman works.. man starts to lose money.. becomes mad at the world, starts to treat woman really bad.. woman comes home from work.. man in bad mood, just went 0-5 and lost big.. woman wants to go out for supper after hard day, man says no, he's in pissy mood..stays home to bet late sun night game, chases.. ignores woman.. treats her like sht..gambling now becomes a severe gambling problem.. woman gets fed up and leaves him.. guy get uncontrollable now..
gambling fuks up relationships.. just be carefull. you guys seem to be a very nice couple and look happy. dont let this sht interfere with your lives, because i looked at the guy and i can tell this guy is capable of becoming a problem gmbler. he looks like the type that can easily become addicted. i know that type.. seen thousands like him.. but you guys are nice people and you look happy, but watch out with this gambling, it can and will kill you both, trust me.

believe me, no joking here, my lines are accurate. if he becomes a problem gambler, your best days will now be behind you.. the only way this relationship has a chance is if he is a very leisure bettor who just bets like 50-100 a week for fun and if he loses, no more chasing or betting..OR you guys don't have a prayer, trust me.. ive seen even happier people than you guys back then, who today, hate each other and are divorced because of gambling.

good job buddy.. then hold on to her...i hve seen thousands of divorces or unhappy marriages because of gambling. very rare you find a woman encourage her man to gamble. dont lose her.. having this woman is a gift from the heavens.. you were blessed. not everyone is as fortunate as you.. good job..
i have alwys found it tough when on sunday, i'd have a horrifying day losing 23% of my bankroll by going 1-14 on NFL sunday and try to hide it from GF, only then to hear her say, honey, you promised me we'd go out for supper tonight.. and after being down 19,457 bucks that you can't afford to lose, and you never expected to go 1-14, you gotta go out now, spend another 125 on dinner that you can't afford, your mind is not there, and you are only thinking of how you going to get this money back and how you need to win it back and now you want to stay home tonight and bet big on the late game instead of going out..
this is how 99.4% of gamblers think when their GF's ask them to go out tonight, after this kinda day.. but i am glad you have it under control and you dont need to worry about it..
you are a rare breed gamer.. you are a very lucky man. dont lose that girl.

Thank you Nicky... Your kind words are + and make me really understand how blessed I am. I just hope that everyone who arent in my situation can understand that grinding day in and day out, or even grinding on credit will lead to a very unhealthy life style. I have Thanked my wife every day for saving me from what I was becoming. I do work part time just to keep my resume flow with a job on there. But I do take capping games serious. I dont make as much money as my wifes job (lol) but during football I take it serious enough where I make money to add to my bankroll, which in return my wife and I use for vacations, holidays, or whatever life throws at us. Yes you are all right, my hubby does have the capabilities to becoming a problem gambler. In fact he was like this and he was already loosing me months back. But since then we both talked about this, specially because at the time I didn't know how bad he was. I pretty much even paid rent for him when we were dating ( although i never knew the money was for this since he didnt tell me the truth then) sometimes because of how bad he was. Slowly I did discover the truth and he did admit it to me. Since then I helped him see how the choices he was making just were not right in any way nor healthy for him. Since then he has proven to me that he can change for the better. Sometimes I have to remind him of what he is doing. But now we can go out at any time whether he has a bet or not on a game and hes not all over the sports channel at the restaurant like he used to be either. We still go out and have fun without him thinking bout gambling/sports 24/7. I have also gotten his interest to spend more time with him doing things he likes. I've told him I will never pull him away from something that he enjoys but he has to do it moderately and not put us in danger. First every bill has to be paid off and still have some money to put in your savings then a little here and there for gambling. But I have also taught him that sometimes things are just not ment to be and you cant force it. Some people are good at gambling some are not. If you have given it your best shot and have lost the amount of money you set aside for it then its just not ment for you. And I can honestly say my hubby has impressed me because we were very close to ending our relationship but in the end after talking things over he was able to accept my help and has become a more intelligent gambler. And his priority has always been me before anything. Thanks to all of you that are giving him advice ! It never hurts for him to hear it from anybody else. But from many stories that ive read and heard about i know that with my help and his love for me my hubby will never become a problem gambler. He does so much for me and has completely changed from the guy he used to be and only continues improving on becoming a better husband for me.Comment -
