I win, I lost all my poker winnings to the dice table. Up over $700 on poker even counting the 2 tourney's I bubbled in. Dice ate that up in minutes it seemed. Felt like I didn't have a chance.

i had one time i was out there and lost my ass a day and half before i was set to go home, i was calling every airline i could to get an earlier flight and it was just impossible, could not wait to get home. And while i realized it was cool to bet sports and get paid in cash there, NOTHING beats the offshore experince of doing it all from the comfort of home.

Reminds me of some of my trips to Vegas years ago when I was single. I lost everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. All the money I brought with me. All the money in my bank account (those convenient ATMs). Completely maxed out credit cards. Didn't have the money to even get my car out of airport parking (luckily they took my information and let me mail it in).

Vegas was much better back then. Too much of a corporate money grubbing tourist trap now.

LOLOL the car at parking thing made me laugh, one thing i ALWAYS do is leave like 25 bux in my glove compartment so its there when i get back incase i come back tapped out..

Actually, it's Connecticut that's been eating my lunch. My last three Vegas trips were great: +$2k, +$750, and Even. While my last two CT trips were -$2,200 and -$1,200. Damn Native Americans.

I'm not in any kind of hurry to go back to Vegas. If I want land based action, I think I'll go somewhere like the Gulf Coast or even Reno.

Other than the gaming, you used to be able to get a fair shake in Vegas. Not any more. You get raped at the tables and on anything you buy. The town no longer has the "homey" feel it used to have. (And I'm not talking about the 60s; I mean the 80s and even early 90s). It's just one big price gouging tourist trap now.

Starts the moment you get there when you tell "Abdul," the ~~camel~~ taxi driver specifically NOT to take the tunnel, and he ignores you, and then gripes about no getting a bigger tip.
