#9There were some loopholes in the software (and weakness in the management) that allowed players to place highly correlated bets giving a huge edge.Originally posted by basketsha ha. who is thremp and what happened? I tried looking up trixtrix, but too damn tired right now.
Trixtrix exploited these to the full.Comment -

#11No one has ever been banned for being sharp. Trix helped us close an open loop hole. He lost back a fair share of his fortune trying to proof that he was sharp.Originally posted by FourLengthsClearThere were some loopholes in the software (and weakness in the management) that allowed players to place highly correlated bets giving a huge edge.

On limits; we have lowered some low volume categories like Russian and African soccer. We offer these but they are very difficult to keep up with time changes. We raised baseball late last season so sports getting volume will get higher limits.Comment -

#13sure he did, why did you make 1000 lifetime sportsbook cash after he cashed out? And in the Grumperz thread you directly told trixtrix this community wasn't for him.Originally posted by SBR_JohnNo one has ever been banned for being sharp. Trix helped us close an open loop hole. #14There's a huge difference between being "sharp" and exploiting loopholes. The latter is a way many of the industry vets make a profit - nothing wrong with that, elsewhere.
The SBR Book deals one lineset and doesn't give the durito's and trixtrix' different limits. Those that only play to make the occasional past-post or take a shot would eventually find that they are unwelcome. The SBR Sportsbook rules page touches on that.Comment -

#23Well it is. Strangely I couldn't wager more than 250 on NBA games. I wonder if it's changed for me. Kind of like the time when I didn't have PL's in NHL until I raised a stink about it.
