In comparison to the players at their time, probably the 92 team. But athletes have evolved over the past 16 years to the point where the size and athleticism of the current squad would wipe the other guys off the floor.

me and my dad were watching the usa,and the greece game.the refs were bias as hell,but the usa was to damn good to lose.there was a play were mark gasol pushed the helll out of chris bosh,and the words my dad said would make a preacher blush.you are right that the dream team were way beter.the refs in the russian,and usa womens team was a joke.it wasnt basketball it was football.

i agree,and disagree.its like comparing mark spitz,to this new kid.they are wearing new suits to go faster,and nutrition.the players that played on the dream team revolutionized the game.there will never ever be another jordan in my lifetime.

at first glance, i would say the dream team because they destroyed their opponents statistically, but when i take a step back from the names (jordan, magic, bird, etc), i am reminded that world basketball, that is, international basketball, has gone up leaps and bounds since the days of the dream team. the dream team might not have dominated the 2008 olympics like they did in 1992.

i would say the '92 team beats the '08 team by 8 pts, but only because they had 4 dominant centers (hakeem, robinson, ewing, shaq),

The 08 team basically has only 3 guys that are dominant with Wade, Kobe and LB. The rest are a bunch of fillins.

While the 92 big 3 had MJ, Magic, and Bird. The other players like Barkeley, Malone, and Stockton were also insanely dominant at that their positions.

The 08 big 3 also has a good chance of getting shut down by the likes of Scottie, MJ, and Magic, that's why I like the Dream Team by a Mile.
