this team will never win with D'Antoni. It's the same old knicks with a couple of big names. Carmelo is the only scorer on the team and Stoudamire needs to be traded for some draft picks. Watching last night's game was like watching the knicks of like 2007 when Jamal crawford was the entire offense like Carmelo is now. Nobody besides chandler rebounds and plays defense. Bibby is washed up and douglas just sucks. I had the illusion that this team would actually be a legit contender this year, but they're not even close right now.

There team has no speed. Outside of Amare and Carmelo, there team lacks talent, speed, and athleticism. And they need a Ronnie Brewer type of player on the perimeter to play defense.

At home or on the road, NYK should be way better than what they have been. Almost lost to Celtics, lose to GSW??? Now they stink in LA. They have 2 studs and Chandler and depth, WTF are doing? Its the coach, he sucks.

It's partly the coaching, but it is also a poorly put together team. When your starting PG is Toney Douglas and his back up is Mike Bibby, you have major problems. Knicks and Lakers have some PG problems in a league which is filled with so many good PG's. Great PG's are popping up everywhere, yet these two teams can't find a decent one. Melo, Amare, and Chandler are great pieces to build around, the only problem is that the Knicks haven't built a strong team around that core. My guess is that it may take a year or two. But they really need to get some guys who want to play defense on the perimeter. They would do great with a guy like Sefelosha or Stevenson who can guard opposing teams best wing player, and knock down 3's at a consistent rate.

I know a lot of people in NY are crazy about Fields, but I don't see what's so special. Pretty average NBA SF who doesn't really complement Melo much.

I think there is a decent chance Nash gets traded before the trade deadline. I think the Suns owe it to Steve Nash to trade him to a team where he can compete and make a run at a title. That Suns team is a complete mess too.

I could see the Knicks going after Nash, but I just don't see them having any good trade assets. Other than draft picks, there aren't many people on the Knicks that any team would be crazy about. Maybe Tony Douglas, Fields and a 1st round pick for Nash. But my guess is the Suns could get much better than that.

Never liked Tony Douglass at all. He can make a few shots every once in a while, but as far as being a point guard in the NBA? Don't think so. He will NEVER take a player one on one and he honestly just looks weird out on the court ha.

A BENCH!! no team wins in the NBA w/o a bench & NY's SUXXXXXX. Melo cost them their entire depth & until they address their defense & bench they will be nothing but fodder for the elites of the East.

Lol it's 3 games in, at least let baron get back and shumpert get back to see what they do. The knicks will be fine. Amare has never played this bad and they still had a chance to win against golden state and the lakers. He's not going to play like this all year long.
