Have you ever declared for bankruptcy
Just read an article that indicated 1 and 5 people with gambling problems end up declaring bankruptcy... I found that interesting and thought of the crew on SBR.........

If you declare bankruptcy do the loan sharks leave you alone?

If I recall you are pretty young so it would all clear up in 7 years unless illegally re-aged. Is it full of late credit cards or collection agency crap? Getting calls and abused? ect

i'm 35, the other Louisvillekid1, was like 20-21. yeah most of my bad credit over the years was from being a young partier, and just being late on shit all the time. i did get this one credit card when i was 18, and after being like 3-4 months behind on late fees and stuff they ended up canceling it, my limit was only like 700, and i owed like 900 something, i ended up just never paying them, they sent me bills for a long time, then some collection place tied to sent me a bill for like 1200, that went on for years, then i heard nothing, then out of the blue another collection company started trying to get like 2000 from me, i remember calling them saying it had been like 10 years, they said something like they were in Ohio and purchased my dept from the other collection company and they don't have 7 year statutes in Ohio or something, i just said "good luck getting the money i ain't paying." That went on for a few years of them sending bills, then nothing, now just in the past year another collection company in like California has it, and they are trying to get like 3700 from me for a credit card from 1991 that was cancelled with like a 900 balance.

I forget the section of BAPCPA (the most current version of the federal bankruptcy code), but employers are not allowed to discriminate against you b/c of your bankruptcy status...

Whether or not they do is a different story I guess...
