I agree with zero in the NFL...With more teams looking for two backs to carry the load, one guy just doesn't get enough carries to get to 2K. Also, NFL is more of a passing league now.
In NCAAF, you have to average 167 yards a game over a 12 game season and that's a pretty all order, as well...

Peterson-Vikings. Minnesota has no quarterback, so they will run, run, and run some more.

Panic,
Don't know if you heard Mike and Mike on Friday morning. They were throwing out stats for rookies who ran for 1000 yards. The next year, less than 1/4 of them out performed their stats from the previous year.
Teams have had all summer to watch tape on the Vikes. Their QB will have to play better or AD will see a lot of 8-9 man fronts. Not conducive for running for 2K.

I think Peterson is gonna be an exception, Doc. That guy has great field vision...almost reminds me of Barry Sanders. But, you're right, if they cant get some productivity from the quarterback, they opposing team will stack the box.

Regarding the Vikes and Peterson's chances... by all accounts Tavaris Jackson has taken a big step forward, and don't forget they added Bernard Berrian to stretch the field... so if anyone can do it, AP can. The guy is truly unreal. He may have some 60-yard games, but he's also gonna have some 237-yard games.
Still, can't put his odds any higher than like 15%, due to his chance of injury.

Yeah, that's the other thing. Gotta stay healthy to have a chance. And if you tote the rock that much, there's a good chance you'll get dinged somewhere along the line in the NFL...it's a LONG season.
