This is why the NBA is a sham league, but is deemed exciting. OKC 4-0 but could just as easily be 1-3. When last second shots decides games that take 48 minutes to play out it makes for a mediocre product. Not that OKC isnt good, or one of the darlings of the NBA. It is just so cliche to see games like this night after night after night. While this one was relatively close through out, having massive swings and runs back and forth and having similar finishes is way too common. All you need to do is watch the last 2 minutes of an NBA game to get the full experience. That statement is very true and proven out in a vast majority of the games. And one of the biggest reasons why the league sucks. But it makes it a great sprt for ESPN to pimp. Its akin to a bad movie, you see the highlights and think it is going to be awesome, then when you go see it you realize all the highlights in the trailer were the only good parts of the movie.

I dont make knee jerk comments because of wagers. I havent made a bet in the NBA in almost 10 years so that is a really moot point. I almost bet GS against the knicks but didnt want to make the call. But that is irrelevant.

For gambling purposes the NBA is a joke. Just way too many things happen at the end to 'handicap' it or get even an idea on a winning strategy. In most sports you could say a 'fluke' like that is maybe a 30% occurrence, meaning Dallas wins 70% of the time, in the NBA it is a lot more. Hell if there were 12 seconds left on the clock Dallas might not have even covered. Thats why you cant handicap he NBA. you have to pick a side and hope the circumstances fall into line for you to win.
