#6Been with him for about 4 months now, always paid him on time, he's always paid me on time. Max i've ever owed him was 600 however. I just got a dui and have to pay the courts and lawyers like 3k so bookie has to kinda go on the backburner. I can probably have him paid off in a couple months, do you think he will go nuts? I'm going to pay him back, it's just going to take awhile...Comment

#10I'm not asking for a lesson in morality here guys, I'm just asking if I have anything to be worried about. He knows where I work, I don't want any problems at work arising because I'm late on my bookie payments. I know what I've been doing is wrong, this whole dui mess is a huge wake up call. But yes, I am only 22. Young and dumb...Comment

#25I'd pay bookie first. Lawyers and legal fees don't need paid up from and in full. The problem is that this kid is 22, and probably gets between 300-500 a pay. He allowed himself to get over his head....probably couldn't pay even if dui didn't happen.Comment

#31I agree with WVGambler, pay the book first. PAY THE MAN FIRST.
Your DUI costs are coming on down the road.
You have so much shit coming your way now, you won't have time or the money to gamble.
Probation Fees, MADD meeting costs, Alcohol Awareness class, Psych Evaluation, and of course lawyer fees and court costs.
Not meaning to rag on ya, or scare ya, but you got some major things coming your way for a 22 year old.
Down here in Texas, that DUI never goes away anymore, used to be like a speeding ticket and would drop off after 7 years. Nope, Nada, you're stuck with it for life. And God Damn, don't think about getting another one, got to spend time in the big house on the second one, unless you can get a Good Attorney and maybe 30,000 large and you might can buy your way out. Doubt you got 30,000 large hanging a around, beings you got issues with 1500.

 Good Luck.

#33Try the payment plan option...but don't hide from the guy...go to him and offer a solution..it's a business and he wants any profit he can get...bad debts look bad on the ledger.

If he refuses this option then simply keep an eye out for when his guys come to collect. Walk out and put 2 rounds in one leg of each guy....no words just do it. Then call the guy and tell him to use those fukks' pay check as a credit on your account since they no longer deserve the $$...you did him a favor and showed him he needs to hire more qualified help.

Close by saying "I'll take Bama PLUS 3 for $500...yes you heard me...PLUS points. I'll be setting my own lines with you from here out. Talk to you soon. Comment Comment

#34i do think with all your legal problems and such, i would just put it in a payment plan and get myself square before i thought about betting again. he probably would take 100 a week for 15 weeks based on wat you have said. no one breaks anyones legs or fingers over 1500 as long as you show your willing to pay.Comment
