They didn't assign the odds to any specific poster based on their true likelihood of winning.

It's done by a random number generator where they gave the computer the 128 odds they wanted to be placed and then they assigned them randomly to posters.

Random in the statistical sense of the term refers to every event having equally probability of being selected. That is everyone had the same probability of being selected +3000 as they did for +6500.

I wouldn't read anything into these odds....

They'd have to disable your ability to bet on your opponent and throw the match so I doubt it. Could also be done through a friend too. I'm sure that's why they aren't offering it...

Right... No way to avoid giving away free money there. BetJam did it for fun and to create some extra interest. Find a sharp on the board with high odds and it can get interesting.

That's what I figured, I was just a little confused as to why they'd bother doing that rather than making everyone +5000. I guess it makes it more "fun" seeing different guys with different odds.
