Anyone here like watching games at the Silver Legacy in Reno?
Better yet, anyone here live in Reno? Silver Legacy and Peppermill are pretty nice. The rest of the town is pretty much a pile of a dogshit.
Anyone here go to Reno often or live there?

Tomato goes about once a month, he got back from there yesterday.
Odds are terrific. Significantly better than Vegas. Peppermill and Atlantis are the best.
Limits are low, don't abuse them. There's no sharps in this town.
Downtown is a shit hole with sharper lines and less comfortable sports books.
City is depressing.

I dont suppose Tomato could be the guy I spoke to in the main chairs at SL sportsbook Id say it was like 3 months ago? You talked about JJGOLD and the battle between the "pros and non pros". If so that was me, the guy in the Buster Posey Jerset and Giants hat.
How low are the limits?
City is TOTALLY DEPRESSING. What is there to do there man? I was thinking about getting a dealing gig at SL.

Tomato has never been to the Silver Legacy.
Tomato was "keyed" for a $100 wager on a 2nd half NCAAB total at Atlantis.
There's nothing to do in Reno, go to Tahoe and the Ski Resorts for stuff to do (Ski, Bike, Camp, Fish, etc.)

"keyed"? Intoxicated?
Surely theres gotta be something to do in Reno. I banged 3 escorts when I was there, one at one of the Ranches outside Reno and 2 came to my hotel room.

What about finding a place to live in Reno? Shady? Probably be preferably avoided because the town is such trash.
I imagine Tahoe would be a much better option.

"Keyed" is when your bet requires approval by a manager since it is above an arbitrary number (typically $500).
The ticket writer shouts "key", manager walks out, slides a card in the machine, and the ticket prints.
Tomato recommends a house if looking at Reno. West side of town (West of Virginia Street) is better than the East side.
Vegas is far better in terms of lifestyle and limits, but not nearly as generous in their odds.

Really? I threw down more than 500 on the Gigantes more than once and never needed approval....
Is there any good deals in town are far as like a one man studio or apartment or something like that? Cheap lodging.

Atlantis is my spot. Used to be up in CalNeva when they had the $1.50 heineken and hot dogs.
I lived in Reno for awhile last year during the baseball season. You can rent a condo for around $600. I ended up staying east of Kietzke. Not much to worry about. The Mexicans have the cheap dro. Boring ass town. 10 years ago it was more lively

Dealing job I'm not to sure about although I see them posted quite a bit as I imagine the turnover is pretty good. There are plenty of nice places to live cheaply. The town can be depressing but there are plenty of things to do, especially if you enjoy outdoor activities.
I have never had a problem placing $1000 bets but that is as high as I have placed, and they do know me by name at at least one sports book. It is that kinda town, I ran into one of the poker rounders at the bank the other day it is a pretty small community of profitable players.
The lines aren't bad either but I am not so sure how things will be when William-Hill finishes taking over Cal-Neva, Luckys and LeRoys.

The takeover has not been good.
Hey do you know what sort of limits the Peppermill will take without anything having to be keyed? What about 2 team parlays?
I just don't want to have any sort of hassles.
Bet some season win totals with no problems but only for a few hundred each.
