#4I try and get cute again with the under, and I lose again.
If you stuck with common sense these last 2 nights with the two best teams in the league, you should be a happy man.
I can understand overthinking a Cowboys game, a Ravens game, a Giants game, but Brees and Rodgers are machines. Of course they are going to be involved in some close, low scoring games, but sticking to common sense with these teams will make you a lot of money. Who cares if everyone else is on it? I know it feels good to "feel smarter" than everyone after you hit that big long shot, but there is a reason why everyone was on these teams and the over. They are the best and they put up points, period.
I'm guilty of out thinking myself all the time, but I need to learn to just roll with the flow, and I need to learn fast, because this "Sharp" stuff and trying to be smarter than the "public", when we ARE the ******* public, will get me broke fast.

#8Yep! Parlayed both of them the little money left in my account after cashing out. Looks like I'll be stuck gambling just a little bit longer now...Comment -

True, I was actually thinking more of the side. The line was pushed up from 6.5 to 7.5 (before coming back down to 7). When a line goes through a key number, you can be fairly sure that it is 'sharp' money that does it. For the sake of disclosure, I had no play on the side or the total.Originally posted by Chimneyfish

#10I bought it at -6.5 and I dont see anything square about -7, I think its square to take +7 in this game considering how when Ive seen Atlanta this year look, not to mention Brees going for a record, consider +7 and the under square.Comment -

#14Given the recent history between these two teams, I thought Atlanta was a steal at +7.5 (where I locked it in).Originally posted by BernardMadoffI bought it at -6.5 and I dont see anything square about -7, I think its square to take +7 in this game considering how when Ive seen Atlanta this year look, not to mention Brees going for a record, consider +7 and the under square.
In retrospect, it was a sucker play. Going from 6.5 to 7.5 -- especially at Pinny -- should've thrown red flags up all over the place for me.
-7 wasn't the square play -- it was the right play. Period.Comment -

#15Real sharps know when to play with the public and when not to. Ala NO tonight or NE vs denver a couple weeks ago - trust me there is many times sharps have the same play as the pub.Comment -

#22Wondering how many points ATL gets in NO 2x weeks from now? Im hoping 10. I dont even think ATL attempted one blitz on Def tonight. Real Vanilla all the way around and if not for some key penalties this game is a lot closer.Comment
