Doesn't matter if a bet loses 8-0 or 3-2... what matters is hitting a high enough percentage to profit at the prices you play. Most gamblers don't know basic math do they are chucked they are too worried about trying to find plays that "can't lose"

It's called the can't lose theory... and it's not a good strategy.Take the yankees -230 vs the mariners it can't lose... etc.

What's the basic math behind degening your money away chasing losses? And FWIW i would have bet them +245 as well.
