This pretty much sums it up. I think some of you guys are taking this way to seriously. This is the internet. It honestly wouldn't affect me in any way whatsoever if 'batemanPatrick' from SBR forum told me he was going to murder me and my family. I honestly think i'd forget about it as soon as i clicked the little X in the top right corner. If you guys are really worried about his threats, you should call the police and tell them "batemanpatrick from the Players Talk section of sbr gambling forum on the internet threatened to kill my kids, please have him arrested". If not, then let him serve his ban and lets have him back so we can have a little fun. As soon as he does something out of line again, he'll be banned and that will be that.
It's not ok to threaten anyone or their family. That's a bullshit thing to do. But i really wouldn't take it so seriously that i would care if he was ever allowed back on this site. He deserved to be banned for a long time, and it seems like its been a long time. Let him back and if he does something stupid again, he'll be banned.

Chances are he will just threaten more people and get banned again. The only reason to even think about allowing him back is it's kind of a novelty to talk to someone who is truly crazy, doesn't happen every day. I voted yes before I read he was threatening children; the decision should be left up to the person whose children were threatened. Hope no one gets hurt this time

I sure do appreciate the opportunity to have a voice here at SBR. The problem with me casting a vote one way or another is that I, and I assume most here, can not possibly know enough of the facts to cast an educated vote based purely on fairness. While I really appreciate the chance to voice my opinion, it would be nothing more than pure speculation at best.
What I would very much appreciate from you would be the opportunity to allow SBR Lou to cast my vote for me. He is, to the best of my knowledge, honest, fair, and sensible. Please allow Lou to cast a vote on my behalf .

The posters who are saying this is a "Freedom of Speech" issue are missing the boat entirely. You can't scream "FIRE" in a crowded theater. You can't threaten to kill the President without getting arrested (whether you really meant it or not).

It would be a statistical improbability for him to get to 66% at this point.
