I won a fair amount of money on college and NFL betting this past year on most of my bets, but lost it all and then some on 2 bets:

    College:

    Miami vs Virginia.

I didn't even bet the spread. I had Miami -600 at home.

    NFL:

    Last week:

    Houston -6 against Carolina.

Houston had a lot to play for in this game against Carolina, but decided it just wasn't worth their trouble, I guess.

You can do stats and numbers and trends all you want, but how do you figure for teams just phoning games in for inexplicable reasons?

What was the problem. Picking winners or overbetting?
