Wasn't my whole bankroll... Still have 1.5k left -- and I've made big bets in the past:

- lost $3500 on Cliff Lee and the Rangers in Game 1 of the 2010 World Series
- bet $6800 to win $5000 on Man United in November of last year
- won $4000 with Wainwright on the bump for the Cardinals in a regular season game

to name a few... but none of them were 'desperation' plays
