Has Binion's downtown lost it's once fabled glory? Sportsbook gonzo,poker next?

It will be interesting to see what condition Binion's Horseshoe is in.I was there a year and a half ago and it was a pitiful shell of it's once glorious self.Rowdy kids were the only ones playing poker and the sportsbook was gone.They are the absolute tightest casino in town on comps and customer service is bad.Too bad because it used to be a fun place.

Anyone know much about what's going on with Binion's?If it goes down one more notch it will be like the place almost next door where they have girls on the street luring you in and 3 songs like The Monkey and the Chimp play there continuousely.

Mostly locals at the poker tables there. Pretty dusty games.

I used to always get the American Casino Guide every year and it was loaded with coupons.Binion's always had a buy one,get one night free hotel room so I stayed there a couple times.The hall ways to get to the rooms are like rat mazes and it's pretty easy to get lost.The Colorado Belle in Laughlin is like that too.I can just see guys in the surveilance room laughing like hell at the drunks that can't find their rooms.

You can at Boulder Station. Hooters had two tables on the floor that allowed smoking but they took them out to make room for IKEA display, the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard of. That place is so poorly managed. Anyway, they're getting them back in a couple weeks. Although, that's probably of no use to you...
