Are you considered a NOOB if you don't have a pic as an avatar?

Come on guys, it's not that hard to get a pic up as your avatar. First thing I check is the avatar, then if no avatar, I consider nOOb no matter if they registered before me. And no matter if they are "PRO".

A lot of posters i recognize by their avatar more then their name.

There are so many names here, it's sometimes easier to remember the picture then the name.
Guys in this thread, Eidolon, JMobile, BigDay, SportsPedagogy are all good examples. They've had the same avatars for a while and when they say something, I know who they are.
