#71LOL. So barely six months ago. They will be gone by Christmas, especially after all the football bettors take their shots at them.Comment -

#73Lawsuit???Originally posted by MonkeyF0ckerYeah they must be hurting, Bill. Trying to ramp up pressure on the no-pays. There isn't any way to know if the information provided was valid. They could be in for some lawsuits as well...

#74They've given the name, location and photo of a REAL person who posesses a REAL driving lisense. Only a matter of time before they're being photoshopped in a backstreet in Karachi. At that point I suspect their location will become apparant.Comment -

#75I thought they had an office in the dominican republic?
Maybe SBR can send Nicky and JJ to check them out. I'll chip in for the flight if they promise to video the entire trip.Comment -

#78Right now there is a line at CW(with a nice 15% hold), that is 50 cents off the market.

They recently had a guy from Pakistan appear on the superstiff page. I believe there was something about excluding players from certain countries. Germany was one.Comment -

#87I am not sure it's illegal to wrongly seek collection from you because someone has stolen your ID to open up an account, in all honesty if you wanted to sue somebody you should probably look to your buddy who swiped your DL and is opening accounts with it. If someone steals your ID and opens CC with it and maxes it out, its very unlikely you could sue the CC company for trying to collect on the debt/ruining your credit report. Granted CW is not technically the most legal company in the world and them trying collection methods on an uncollectible debt is probably illegal but since most agree to have their pic posted on the stiff page if they stiff them beforehand perhaps that could get them out of having to pay damages. Truth is they would have bigger problems if they entered a US court than your lawsuit, like criminal charges for accepting bets from the USOriginally posted by MonkeyF0ckerI would imagine a lawyer could subpeona their domain registration records fairly easily...Comment -

#88What stops a potential stiff from claiming that his email and name were used without his consent to open an account at CW since no SS was required to open an account?Comment -

#89Nothing, even if your SS number is used can a CC company be sure that's you that signed up, I know plenty of SS#s of friends of mine, hell you have to give your SS out to random ppl for doing your taxes, job application, etc many times in life it's very possible/easy to steal someone's ID. One day they will have fingerprint or DNA technology that will 100% assure you are who you say you are, but today ID theft is unfortunately not that hard. The good news is if they steal my ID they'll just be turned down for CC like I am everytime lolOriginally posted by pavyracerWhat stops a potential stiff from claiming that his email and name were used without his consent to open an account at CW since no SS was required to open an account?Comment -

#92I guess they got smart and started requiring a photo ID before u can place a bet.
It certainly explains how they can put up a regular stiffs page.Comment -
