Why is Carolina tempting? offense can put points on the board but their defense is terrible and has been their downfall all season.

I like Carolina as well. You have several Texans with injuries, and the Wade Phillips will not be at the next 2 games recovering from surgury. The Texans already have entered the playoffs. I just think with all the above mentioned, Carolina gets the win if not cover.

IMO the Panthers "D" might not be all that great but really think about this folks, look at how many points the Texans have scored with TJ. When he entered the game against Jacksonville, he barely scored any points at all. Then the last 2 games, the Texans have only scored around 20 points both games each. The Texans D has kept them in the game. I just wonder how much affect the missing of Wade Phillips from the sidelines will have on the defense.

Imagine for second that the Texans don't get lucky and lose last week...

Then imagine they didn't play the Browns, Buccs, and Jags (Twice) in the last 6 weeks and instead played teams like the Saints, Packers, and Bears at full strength (All teams the Panthers have gone score for score with)...

Imagine looking at the players that will line up on the field, instead of records or Vegas lines...

You'd then see this game is a total flip of the coin...

Again, How can you not take the Panthers??

I take it the OP has never been inside Houston's stadium....That place is so loud you can't even think... Cam is already a turnover machine, the noise is really gonna get to him.....Plus the Panthers have a terrible run D.....No play for me but if I had to choose, it would be Texans.

Sure... The texans would rather play at Pitt or at Balt in the cold with a rook qb in a playoff atmosphere against probably the best 2 d's in the league.... I can see Houston not caring about this game.

Of course he is capable of throwing 3 picks and losing this game, but he is just as capable of throwing three 40 yard lazers to win them the game...

All I'm trying to do is give you guys solid plays with long term value, hard to say that if these teams played 3 games, the Panthers wouldn't win one of them...
